Key Strategy Takeaways

  • Invoker Ahri is a four-cost Fast 8 line; current community board formulas vary, so preserve the carry, frontline, and useful trait core instead of combining every screenshot.
  • TFT Ninja currently lists Invoker Ahri among its top Patch 18.3b Diamond+ comps, while its measured ranking is a third-party snapshot rather than a TFTFans result.
  • Ahri wants a complete magic-damage setup; Morgana can hold utility, and an Invoker Emblem is a reason to consider a higher Invoker breakpoint.
  • Start from a playable Blossom or AP opener and a frontline that can buy time; do not rush to Level 8 if the board is losing too much health.

What Is the Ahri TFT Comp?

The Ahri TFT comp in this guide is a Set 18 four-cost composition that uses Ahri as its main magic-damage carry and often pairs her with Morgana. The Invoker Ahri version appears in current community lineups. A current TFT Ninja Patch 18.3b snapshot lists Invoker Ahri among its top five Diamond+ boards, with a 4.28 average placement and 54.7% top-four rate in the displayed sample. That is a dated third-party board-family result, not a TFTFans statistic or a guarantee for every Ahri lineup.

Community guides describe related versions under names such as Ahri Morgana and Invoker Ahri Morgana. Their boards do not match unit for unit: the current TFT Academy guide frames it as an A-tier four-cost Fast 8 line, while other guide builders emphasize an Invoker Emblem or a different frontline. The stable idea is Ahri damage, enough Invoker or Blossom value to support the board, and a frontline that lets the carries cast. Do not combine every unit from every displayed variant.

This has a different center from our Mana Go Brrr guide, which focuses on a Morgana and Alune Invoker/Vanguard shell. Choose the Ahri line when your items and shops support Ahri as the main carry.

Ahri TFT Comp Board and Unit Jobs

One current meta snapshot groups the line around 3 Invoker, 3 Blossom, and 3 Riftbeast. Treat those as a reference trait shape, not an inflexible eight-unit board. The exact flex units change with your upgrades, emblem, and which frontline you hit.

Unit or roleItem directionBoard job
AhriJeweled Gauntlet and Rabadon’s Deathcap are a damage starting point; use an Invoker Emblem only when the extra breakpoint fitsMain carry; protect her cast cycle and backline access
MorganaMorellonomicon or other useful utility/AP itemsAdds spell pressure and can hold utility when Ahri already has her core
Sett or Ancient SentinelFlexible tank items such as Gargoyle Stoneplate, Warmog’s Armor, or Spirit VisageUse whichever upgraded frontline unit holds the item set best; the current comp guide lists either as a tank option
Taric and other trait unitsRemaining tank, mana, or damage itemsKeep the units that complete useful traits and improve the next fight; replace weak slots with real upgrades
Karma or another early casterTemporary Ahri itemsPreserve tempo in Stage 2, then transfer items when Ahri arrives and the sale is worth it

The Ahri item snapshot shows why an item trio is context, not a rule: its Diamond+ sample includes different item combinations and ranks Ahri’s general results separately from this exact composition. Use the TFT item matrix for recipes and the BiS guide for broader holder decisions.

When Should You Play the Ahri TFT Comp?

The current TFT Academy guide recommends looking for a strong Blossom 3 opening, using Karma as an early holder, and itemizing a two-star tank while you build economy. That is a useful start when the shop supports it. An Ahri copy alone does not justify selling a stable board or forcing a trait breakpoint.

Ahri TFT Comp Fast 8 Plan

The current community versions use a Fast 8 approach, but exact round timings depend on your opener and health. Think in terms of what each stage must accomplish:

  1. Stage 2: use an item holder and preserve tempo. Play a strong Blossom or caster board if it is already upgraded. Karma can hold Ahri’s items; Yorick or another upgraded tank can carry early defense.
  2. Stage 3: build the transition without benching your whole economy. Keep useful Ahri, Morgana, and frontline pairs. Add trait units when they make the current board stronger, not just because a guide lists them.
  3. At Level 8: roll for a complete fight-winning core. Prioritize Ahri, a durable frontline, and the support carry or utility unit your items fit. Stop when the board can survive; do not spend to zero chasing a perfect screenshot.
  4. After stabilization: level only when it adds value. Level 9 can add a stronger cap such as Lux or another high-value unit in some variants. If health is low, keep the stronger Level 8 board instead of delaying stabilization.

Our Fast 8 guide covers general economy and roll-down decisions. This guide is the Ahri-specific layer: choose the board shape from your shops and emblem rather than treating one community build as universal.

Invoker Ahri TFT FAQ

Is Invoker Ahri a top comp in Patch 18.3b?

TFT Ninja currently places an Invoker Ahri board family in its top five Diamond+ comps. Other strategy sites use their own tiers and board definitions, and TFTFans’ displayed ranked data is still a Patch 18.2 sample. Treat the ranking as a current signal, not a guaranteed result or a TFTFans win rate.

Do I need an Invoker Emblem on Ahri?

No. A current community variant values an Invoker Emblem on Ahri, but the line can use other board structures. Take the emblem route only when its trait breakpoint is worth the unit and item trade-offs.

Is this the same as Mana Go Brrr?

No. Both use Invoker and can include Morgana, but their carry focus and board structure differ. Use the Mana Go Brrr guide for its Morgana/Alune shell.
